For all users:
Information we collect:
- Temporary log-files created by the server may contain your Browser User Agent or IP address
- When you download a file, your IP address is temporarily stored for the purpose of download count tracking
- If you accept the cookie prompt, you will have a session cookie saved
How this information is used:
- We use IP addresses for download count tracking and de-duplication. This information is only stored for the sake of tallying downloads and we don't further process it.
- We use log files to detect abuse of the services
- We may perform demographic analysis based on User Agent strings to determine if we can use certain browser features.
- NONE of the information is used for marketing or tracking reasons
- We take every attempt reasonably possible to protect your data and ensure it never leaves our infrastructure
- If you download a file, we can count that, however there is no way to determine who made a download, just that there was a download.
Additional information for logged in users:
Information we collect:
- Your Discord ID
- Your Discord display name
- Your Discord avatar
- Times at which you have created mods and releases
- A history of modifications you make to your content
- Any content you decide to upload to the website
How this information is used:
- Your Discord ID is used as a token of verification during login. It can also be used by other users to add you as a collaborator.
- Your Discord Avatar and Display Name is stored and displayed on pages where you are the author of a given Mod.
- Any content (mods, releases, mod assets) you willingly upload is available publically for other users to download.
- The times of creation are shown on public pages
- The historical information is kept for moderation, administration, and terms of service enforcement reason
- Following termination of service for ToS violation, we will store a hash of your Discord ID to prevent account re-creation.
HCAPTCHHA APPENDIX:
We use the hCaptcha anti-bot service (hereinafter "hCaptcha") on our website. This service is provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., a Delaware US Corporation ("IMI"). hCaptcha is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on a login page or contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program. To do this, hCaptcha analyzes the behavior of the website or mobile app visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website or mobile app visitor enters a part of the website or app with hCaptcha enabled. For the analysis, hCaptcha evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website or app, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to IMI. hCaptcha analysis in the "invisible mode" may take place completely in the background. Website or app visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place if the user is not shown a challenge. Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (DSGVO): the website or mobile app operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its site from abusive automated crawling and spam. IMI acts as a "data processor" acting on behalf of its customers as defined under the GDPR, and a "service provider" for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
